Imagine the most outrageous and exciting thing you could possibly do.....i.e pack up and move country...get another job as a lap dancer...actually ask out a person you've never met before for a drink....perhaps write an email to someone which merits a response there and then........express your love and devotion to the person you're in love with ..... once you've done that.....Flirt with an employee of another company or plan your wedding....then do it........if you don't want to do it then you won't be bored anymore because you will have injected a bit of spice into your life!

Well you won't die, that might be a bummer for you, I don't know. It's turkey day so there are some football games on TV. If that don't help go to the book store and buy a Dean Koontz book like "Soul Survivour" or "Intensity" start reading one of these and see if that helps.
And there is a last resort or maybe you should put it first. "Call your girlfriend over to spend a few days with you. If your a girl call your boy friend."
Those are my best suggestions! Wish I could help more.
Have a good turkey day!

I am sure you must have some other projects you could be working on. Try cleaning your desk up. Check your filing. Offering someone else some assistance. Go & get the office some coffee. Set up holiday decorations if your office does that. Rearrange the bullitain board. Clean out the office fridge. Check your calendar for upcoming events and do some preplanning. Sweep up. Check w/your supervisor for additional tasks.
I could go on ... but, I think you see my point.

That's the life, someones complaint of no time even for breathing, just be patient (it's a virtue) and try to find some other activity to fill your time and spirit and make you to realize that you are a very important person who deserves the best of the life. Look very deep inside yourself and surely you will find many things which make the life beautifull and worthy to be intensily lived.

I'm still answering questions... I don't think it can kill directly. Boredom, been there tons of times. Can you get out of the office and walk a block then come back, or just walk around your office, just to keep the circulation going. Timestoby is right though.

I am worried I could be suffering the same symptoms. Even worst my work blocks most internet sites and this is one of the only few I can get on! But you should try www.minigamer.co.uk for free games. Sure to tie you over until the end of the day....or at least until you kill yourself. Goodluck.

Boredom is just a state of mind,
There is a famous quote, that says "only boring people get bored",
So re-evaluate your situation and find something to get you inspired.
Also as it is a state of mind, you could theoretically die for it, as it is known that people can die of placebos.

I am also extremely bored. I should be working but that would make me even more bored. Considering Im 28 and my body is slowly dying regardless of what I do.........I suppose it is possible to die of boredom.

Yes. But boredom is usually combined with other life shortening symptoms. A broken heart, lack of friendship, an idle mind, etc, etc. Get my point ? You create your level of boredom.
