Will you please look into this?
Just Say Thanks!
If you go to the web site at www.letssaythanks.com you can pick out a thank you card, the Xerox Corporation will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these?

I know you'll pass this along.
tell me if you do it

I know you won't like this, but as the wife of an active duty soldier, I agree with David.
Many soldiers get limited mail if they're out on the front lines. He used to get very frustrated when they'd get a mail drop for the first time in three weeks, and there would be bunches of "Dear Soldier" letters while letters from me, his family, and friends didn't get through.
I know your intentions are good; a better plan is to go to the site below, and sign up to "adopt" a soldier. The organization will give you the address of a soldier who has requested a "family" - usually these are the guys/gals who have little family or friends, so, they're receiving very little mail to begin with.
Thanks again for your interest in supporting our troops!

Can I be miserable in here and say, what use is getting a random card from a random stranger with a well meaning but ultimately empty random message?

Im being serious here people. There is a vast difference between me getting a card that says Dear David, and one that says, Dear Soldier.
