We play mating games, simply to select our own specific preferences to a mate, it has been the same since the dawn of man (and woman), it is a way of ensuring that your blood line will carry on with the strongest chance of survival, as it is the same for all species. Ours is no more complicated as other animals, in-fact, its a lot less. So we do have it pretty easy really!
I would not give to much thought into it, just enjoy it for what it is, and have fun!

Don't. If the person that you are with, or want to be with can't be honest, you don't need them. Get things straight with them from the beginning. There are six billion people on this rock, it's easy to find someone if you are honest and ask them to always be honest to you. Do you want to be with someone that you can't trust?

It's some subconscious thing to protect ourselves and siphon out everyone who isn't compatible. It's just some people lose perspective and get caught up in them.
