BOOK IT! Meaning that you have to prove what your saying. Many persons may feel the same way you do, but actions speak louder. Take some of your experiences, add your best counseling tools or strategies, your follow ups(people whom you'd counseled and their feedback)that applied to the situations, then create your memoirs or chronicles, get it copy written, edited, then published. Open your door and invite serious business inquiries to enter. Best Wishes To Ya!

Contact your local Mental Health Department, advise them of your wishes. Alot of states have programs that children need counseling of some sort and their just aren't enough councelors out there.
Children should be thought of first

Why not check with your local police department or local churches. Both would be a great source of information for you to begin. You might also want to check with your local social services agencies to see if they could direct you. Another might be to check with local non profit agencies to see if they have any suggestions.

My father also had this gift, he worked with the local police departments and fire departments, councilling men/women in grief. These men/women see many terrible things and need someone to talk to who is impartial................not someone associated with thier job, not someone called a "psychotherapist" and certainly they don't want to take it home to thier families.
Councilling is also needed at homeless shelters, battered women's groups, big brothers and sisters, AA meetings....................True councilling from the heart is not something done for profit, and usually doesn't pay well, nor should it, it is one human helping another...................if you are looking for your councilling to pay, get your psychotherapists license or phd. and set your own schedule.
