This issue is 90% diet, 10% exercise. You need to clean up your diet, eat 5-6 small meals per day (spaced 2-3 hours apart), and drink plenty of water.

Exercise can help by increasing your daily caloric expenditure, just don't focus on abdominal exercises. Work the entire body.

Sit-ups don't work your abs! They are, however, quite good at screwing up your back by tightening up your hip-flexors. They don't work the rectus abdominis half as hard as they work the psoas and rectus femoris (hip-flexors in your hip and thigh).

Stick with regular cardio and heavy weight-training at least 2 times a week.

Walmart sells.. DVDS "10 min solutions" is only 10 bucks and has 5, 10 min work outs on it... I love it.. I have the Pilate's one, I'm going back tomorrow to buy the exercise ball DVD. I do 3 workouts a day, if i don't have much time, I'll fo at least 1. They also have one just for abs... I might buy that one too.

Doing sit ups will sculpt ab but if you have fat on your abdominal area you could have great abs underneath the fat. So if you just want muscles and your stomach is flat-ish sit-ups all the way. Otherwise running is the best accompaniment
