I put a 14 lb turkey in at 5 am and its now 930 or so it looks done and smells done what is the ratio to cooking something like 25 mins for each pound that makes it 7 hours right?? or am i just too tired and miscounting?? my mind is not functioning please help and no rude comments please my brain cannot take it!!

25 min times 14 lbs is 5 hours and 50 minutes.

that would make it not quite 11 AM if you put it in at 5 AM...

Use a meat thermometer and put it in the breast (thickest part). When it gives a reading of 165 degrees or a little more it will be done. You will get a higher reading in the wing area because it is not as meaty!

Not sure what temp you have it at, but after 4.5 hours it should be done for that size of bird. Just stick a thermometer in it and check.

you cook it for 15 minutes per pound...you should be done...poke it with a fork on all sides to see if the juices run clear

3.5 hrs. it's over cooked. sorry. hope the temp. was down a bit.
1 hr. per 4 lb.
