Albertsons, Kroger's, and Brookshire's should be open until 7PM along with a few others. Typically they all will close at that time on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve. Hope that helps.

Wal-mart was open last year on Thanksgiving when I had a food emergency.

I think that Wal-Mart is for a few hours. Call a few grocery stores in your area. I would start with Wal-Mart. Hope this helps you!!

Mostly the small mom-and-pop "convenience" stores, which of course over-charge for everything because they must compete with large supermarkets most of the time. Convenience, not low prices, is the way the compete.

Call them and find out, because certain stores may be open in your area and closed in others, even if they're part of the same chain.

Safeway is open today, I do know that. I don't know about Wal-Mart since they always want people to be home with their families.
