The name Mastiff is used by several large breeds usually with a variety qualifier (IE Neapolitan Mastiff, bull mastiff, Tibetan Mastiff. When the Mastiff is used without qualifiers it properly refers to the English mastiff. They are larger than bull mastiffs - usually allowing for individual variation (IE a small mastiff might be smaller than a large bull mastiff).

bull mastiff: height-24-27" working dog , feed once a day, 90-130lbs...colors: brindle, fawn' and red, short hair
mastiff : height:27.5-30" working dog, feed four times a day, 175-190 lbs, colors:apricot-fawn, silver-fawn, fawn,short hair
