How much of your brain did you shut down to ask that question? The part about 10% being a myth?
The part about the definition of abstraction or conceptualization?
The part that produces coherent trains of thought?
(I cannot even figure out what this passage is supposed to mean: "...evolution, which is not Neanderthal, but a process of change and 'growth'!")

The myth that humans use only 10% of there brains has been debunked to so many times the fact a Christian asked this question shows that maybe Christians only use 10% of there brains we the rest of the human race use it to its full capacity. Check out the following link if you have any potential for abstract thinking or any ability to conceptualize. But you wont your too dogmatic and you only use 10% of your brain.

I think you're confused on the concept of abstract thinking. An atheist could certainly handle the *idea* of a god; they simply choose not to believe in it. If I believed in all my abstract thoughts as tangible, real things, I would probably be dead by now because of those times when I'm driving on the interstate and want to pretend I'm playing Crazy Taxi instead.

The statment that we use only 10% of our brain is a myth. I use my brain daily, and most of it. If you think that only one percent of your brain is used, than that is so for you, and if 10% then why are you not using the rest of it, by entering the question in the Yahoo or Google search engine, and that way you will be using more of it to find out, the right answer www.google.com.

You seem none too bright. Nowhere in science does it say humans use 10% of their brain. I heard a REAL brain researcher interviewed once, and the interviewer asked that question. The scientist said it was total nonsense. Brain size to body ratio is key to evolution, and every bit of a human brain functions. Your question is doubly ridiculous because non-religious people have higher IQ's and higher educational levels. That fact has been known many years.

Hi
It is not a "brain issue" anyways......
IT IS A MATTER OF THE HEART.
**anyone can shut down their conscience IF they dont give a darn.
However.......this does not remove the guilt from their actions.
That is to say each one of us will be held responsible for our actions whether it be Einstein or Forrest Gump.

At least 70%, on a bad day. They don't have thoughts of the lord bouncing around in the brain so they can actually use their brain a lot more efficiently.

With respect, i am an athiest by choice and this does not mean that my brain capacity is less than 10%.
Your comments only show your lack of understanding in freedom of choice.

I'd say about 2%,,,ok I'll go with the 1% :),,,No myth, Adam and Eve were Way smarter, the 'caveman' thing is a myth. We were made fully functional until we sinned and started polluting the earth, now we dont live as long and we arent as smart.
