when i went to the zoo as a kid i SWEAR that elephants were as big as houses but now they're tiny... what happened? is this a government cover up????

It's not a cover up att all. You shouldn't have been swearing as a kid anyway, no wonder the country is going to the dogs, kids swearing about elephants, heheheheheheheh.

Your previous answers concening size differential is fine.
Of course the critters are big, And quite rightly we humans stand back.
It is all relative, I have eaten shark, and it is loveley, but no way would I go near an elephant.

As a child, things are bigger.
If the government are covering up the size of animals, we need a parliamentry debate.
"Mr Blair - how big is an elephant?"

That was the time when you have seen Elephant as the Biggest thing....Now with the passing time I am sure you have seen many things much bigger than elephants !!! Just think before coming to any conclusion ?!

Since you have got older, the fast food industry has expanded and Zoos sell the larger beasts off for processing so that they can be replaced with smaller, cute creatures that have more popular appeal.

Yes you're right!! I remember them being the size of Buckingham Palace! My mum says that it's because I was so much smaller then, but I really do think that she's got something going on with Tony Blair because she started salivating and her eyes went all funny while she was telling me this!!

They had to make them smaller because Elephants are always growing and any larger than they already were would be dangerous.
