A few of the weight watchers ready meals are only about 300 calories. But other than that, beans on toast, or egg on toast are good. (wholemeal toast of course)

Why only 99 calories per bowl? According to most nutritionists, breakfast should be your biggest meal because it speeds up your metabolism and gives you energy for the day. I don't think any cereals will provide under 99 calories, but I know that Cheerios has 110 per cup. Shreddies is another healthy option. For extra nutrition top your cereal with fruit or almonds.

There are loads of them but 300 calories is not a lot for a main meal. You could have a baked potato with tuna and salad or cottage chees and salad. Apiece of grilled or steamed fish with new potatoes and vegetables. The list is endless. Good luck.

sprinkle cajun spices on raw chicken breast - grill it and then serve with salad (rocket, peppers, tomatoes). That even leaves room for maybe a spoon of low fat mayo. Alternatively, you can make low cal chili con carne with tinned tomatoes, chili powder, low fat mince, mushrooms and an onion - don't have too much and don't have any rice or sour cream and it's quite low in calories. Avoid carbs is the answer to under 300 cals (but only once in a blue moon coz carbs are very gooood and necessary)

try shredding some cabbage (savoy is good) and stir frying for a minute or two in a hot pan - add a little soy sauce, garlic and/or chilly for taste. Stir through some cooked prawns (100g or so, say), squeeze over some lemon or lime juice, and take of the heat. Leave in the pan for a minute or two for the prawns to warm through, stir, and eat :) This is very tasty, and has lots of protein, iron etc. If you wanted a richer taste, you could stir through some skimmed milk cottage cheese after adding the prawns.
