Dont rush him into anything, eventually he will go to the potty. My son was 4 by the time he finally used the potty all the time. But once he did he was dry from one day to the next during the day as well as at night. He never had an accident after that. Each child will learn in his own time. Now if you doesn't go potty by the time he is 5 I would worry and ask my pediatrician because there are medical things that can cause that. But for now don't really worry about it. Just keep encouraging him, making a bit fuss when he does go but don't scold him if he doesn't! Good luck and like a pediatrician told me: Take it easy or have you ever seen a child go off to college with a pack of pampers lol!!!

I have a three year old boy, and he isnt either, He just isn't interested, and you can't force them. I just had a baby also, and seeing that your other one is 6 months, They say that having another baby, may cause the older one to fall back on milestones, such as using the potty. So, just be patient, and remove the fears that you'll be changing the diaper of a 10 year old. It'll happen, be patient work with him. Some boys don't potty train until 4, boys are also harder to potty train than girls, It'll happen I promise.

It's hard to potty train, but you just have to be persistant and don't give up. Make a game out of it. You might offer stickers or something like that. Once he's trained, you'll not only have the relief of all that work, but you'll be saving all that money on diapers and stuff. Good luck

Hello, I have a daughter who was similar. She absolutely refused to stay consistant and go to bathroom. What I finally did was a little bit of encouragement w/ her favorite candy and also kept track on a dry erase board of the times she went and kept track and asked her every 30 minutes if she had to go. After an hour and half if she didn't go, she was sat on the toilet to try to go. It may take a while, but it is well worth it. I recommend trying it. But really I wouldn't be too concerened until he is 4 and not attempting to try.

You're the one who should be consistent with making him know that that's where he needs to go. Consistency is key in everything that you do.
