The tree crashing will produce atmospheric disturbances that would oscillate in the vicinity of which if an ear was there would interpret it as sound but sound is vibrations of air so yes it would make a sound just nobody would hear it.
Similarly if a branch fell into a pond and nobody was there to see it would the water surface still ripple? Yes it would.

This is a very interesting question, although the answer is not that simple. Albert Einstein with his special theory of relativity would answer a plain 'no' but I say 'yes'. Since the late Einstein was be default brighter than me you ought to take the 'no' for a correct answer. But keep in mind that I insist to my 'yes'

No it wouldn't because sound is only made by the reverberation in our ear drums so if there was no-one there to hear the sound there would be no sound !
