These are beautiful words, and one would hope we would all listen to them and incorporate them into our lives. Cynically speaking, most people don't adhere to these words how valuable they are, tend to be negative, looking for the brass ring. People struggle with enlightenment wanting to do it on their own, control the situation, and become frustrated when life doesn't turn out the way they want it. Hope through the strength of believing in God that all things will turn out for the better is what we should strive for, however, in today's society, it is doubtful. I would hope people would read these words and say, "I get it!".

I try to count my blessings all the time, but I do that without any belief in god. Still works to make me smile, make the sun break out, make the music play, and make me move forward towards the life that I intend to continue building with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.
God or no god, it's a good philosophy to look on the bright side of life. Happy Thanksgiving!

It seems to me that the primary objectof any human being is to grow, as God intended, that being the nature of all growing things. Our search must be for what reality we can find, which includes the best definition and feeling of love that we can acquire.

basically, what it's trying to say is that don't be depressed and don't hope for things to happen...make it happen by doing so. And then, when you feel content about your doings, God will turn his face towards yours and guide you throughout your journey of life....
