Go for it; they will never know!!!! Just don't tell them, I mean did you see some of the responses you evoked from some of the people responding. Really, it is just milk, how dumb are we? Where do we think milk comes from? A sterile cow somewhere?
Mashed potatoes with butter and breast milk; sounds like you should post that one on Rachel Ray's cooking forum! Anonymously!

Do you have any canned milk?

While it might sound like a god idea to you, I'm not sure that breast milk would be the right thing as far as texture is concerned. I am thinking it would be like using skim milk. You really need the fat in from the cow's milk.

Isn't there a convenience store nearby that's open? You only need like a cup or 2. Maybe you can ask a neighbor and borrow some milk...

Don't do it! Use sour cream instead. It will give you the milky taste, and make the potatoes creamy.

Use evaporated milk next, thinned with water.

If that is not an option-mix up some coffee creamer with water

If you don't have that mix up some milk powder.

If that is not an option use chicken stock.

If that is not an option use butter or margarine.

If none of these are on hand-just mash the potatoes up with some salt and pepper. I'm sure your guests will understand.

Guests have no right to drink god-sent milk specially designed for a baby.
Who knows, they would just love a new recipe of mash potatoes without milk.
How about adding some achaar to the paste.

This is exactly how they make Gerber's Mashed Potatoes which I eat all the time... I find Gerber's Mashed to be creamier and I am undisturbed by the slightly bluish hue of the jar...

I don't use milk, I use cream cheese or chicken stock. As for the breast milk, that is not appropriate to serve to guests. Worse comes to worse, make roasted potatoes instead.

You've probably already eaten by now, but you can always use chicken broth - instead of milk - for mashed potatoes.

Don't be redicluos.Borrow fom the neighbor. And for Pete's sake there has to be a convienence store open somewhere. There alway is and you still have plenty of time. Did you think a bout calling one of your guests to see if they would bring some. May you have a can of evaporated milk on the shelf.

Not only is that disgusting, but if they find out you can be arrested for assault and battery. I know it sounds stupid, but forcing someone to unwittingly drink your own body fluids does constitute as assault, and if someone ends up getting sick from it, you could get it big trouble, and I will then be reading the headline in the Peculiar News section of MSN about the woman who was arrested for feeding her own breast milk to guests.
