Pick, roll, look at it (if it happens to warrant it)and flick is the proper way to pick your nose. Oh, and while riding in your car is best. However, if you have a "cornflake" or better known as a "trap door" booger, then this requires two hands, one to block off the unobstructed nostril and the other to catch the "cornflake" as it flies out.
