IPPB is still used and is very effective, if not one of the most effective forms of respiratory therapy out there in my opinion. Unfortunately it is not utilized as frequently as it once was when I first began as a respiratory therapist 11 years ago.

I've broken out the Bird every now and again. And I agree, it is quite effective when used properly.

I am currently a respiratory therapist at two hospitals.....our IPPB machines have more dust on them than a Kenny G CD.
