Suppose we are captured by some crazy religious militants. They threatened to kill us in a very embarassing, and humiliating way. We will be stripped completely naked and then executed by beheading publicy. Being stripped completely naked before crowd is very embarassing for woman, not to say the following beheading execution.
Then we are given two choice, first we agree to make statement in public condenming our own religion, or second we go straight to the execution. Which one we will choose?
This may a very strange question, but this continue tickling in my head. I often ask to myself, can I bear this if this really happened to me? Am I a traitor or a brave woman?

to gento, it's easy for you to say that because you are not a woman. Most men are more brave than women. This execution is very embarassing and humiliating for woman, so please put yourself as woman to answer this question.

i dont think you would be a traitor,,,,, for me, i suppose i would have to weigh the odds, to i think that if i do as they say, they will not still kill me? while i wouldnt trust them, i most likely would do as they say,,,,,,,i would think that any rational person who heard or heard of me condeming my religion would know i was doing it under duress,,,,, and i wouldnt care what irrational people thought!

I will not renounce the Lord my God. I will only speak the truth. If I die for it, then I die showing others that I love Jesus.
Jesus died for me. Hopefully, by my death, others would see the truth and accept his gift, too.
If I'm going to die, who cares about being stripped naked? When I die I will go to Heaven because Jesus saved me, so I don't really care what happens here on Earth to my earthly body.

I would HOPE that I could be true to my religion, but I am sure that if I make a false statement under threat, that my God is most merciful, and it would not be considered a sin under such circumstances.

Think of Columbine, the brave girl who said she believed in God/Jesus, and then was shot. Think of the older Amish girls willing to give their lives first to save the little ones.
I would like to think I would choose execution. But, I can't imagine this scenario.

Nothing of that sort will happen nowadays. If you saying muslim do that you are totally wrong. Muslims will never hurt women. Its in their teachings. Sad to say Christianity does that. History shows. You'll be amaze what they can do to you.
On my views, IF that were to happen i will still believe in my religion whatever happens to me. Just Like Jesus(pbuh) did.

It all depends on how strong your faith is. Yes! there are 2 choices. Only you yourself that has to decide, God or earthly realm. We'll all be dead 1 day.
Ok lets put it if i'm a women. I will have to see if there are any MAN protecting me like husband or father or brother. All man related to me is my protector. Muslims man is instructed to be responsible of all his women around him such as mother, sister, daughter even female cousins. Thats why muslim women are and felt protected. If there is non then i choose to skip this stage and go direct to my Lord Allah(swt)(God) Most Gracious Most Merciful.
Lets put back as i'm a man again. I'll never let any man or women to even touch her skin to harm her. I'll never let her dignity drop for whatever reason. I'll offer myself to die IF ever my cousins or any women related to me to be in that kind of scenario. I'll offer my life in exchange to hers.

Since Christ died for me then I should be faithful and strong enough to die for him. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and would go to the execution as my Lord did for me.

I doubt anything like this would happen, unless you're a non-Muslim in some radical Muslim country like Iran or Saudi Arabia .... which is why you won't catch me dead going to any of those places.
