Kind of. . . Like some other people said, the VIRUS will stay in your system forever, but the WARTS often go away on their own, or they can be removed (sometimes with a prescription ointment or with an acid solution or very minor surgical techniques in a doctors office). ***Do NOT try to skip the doctor by using an over-the-counter wart remover medication or try to remove it yourself!!!!***
****It's estimated that up to 70% of the sexually active adult population may carry the virus!****Most of them do not even know it because they do not show symptoms. In a way, that's pretty scary; In a way though, it is kinda no big deal-lots of normal people have active, healthy sex lives and are never bothered by this.
Often times, if you take care of yourself-get enough sleep, eat a heralthy diet, don't get too stressed out-the virus will "sleep" for years and only very rarely (or never again) cause bumps. It's important of course, to talk about this with sexual partners even if you do not actively have warts.
A few types of genital rts can cause changes in cells, which over time could lead to cancer if not reated. Ironically, the virus strains that can lead to cancerous changes usually do ot cause symptoms-usually the virus types that cause warts are much less dangerous. Pregnant women may need to take special precautions to keep from spreading it to theirbabies when they give birth.

90% of people will clear the virus from their system in 6-12 months.
No cure for the common cold...but your body fights it off. Same thing here.
Go to the doctor to find out if you have them forsure.
Aldera is usless. It might work for you though. Get them burned off, thats the best way.

No they can be removed. If you do have them you need to have them removed due to the fact that they can lead to other problems, like cancer
