most gel capsules do contain "gelatin". migraines come from several sources. 1. Lack of water 2. Chocolate 3. Caffeine 4. lack of exercise 5. lack of sunlight. 6. "That time of the month" 7. stress--- try to figure out what your triggers are and avoid them. Most medicines have something "wrong" with them. I have been a vegetarian for 32 years but I don't worry about the minute(SP?)amounts I might ingest from pills.

Yes, Advil liquid gels contain gelatin in them.

You can buy homeopathic things. You can buy them at a health food store or try to find something on-line.

There isn't much you can do if you choose to take traditional medicine. All medicine in the US has to be tested on animals and almost always contain some sort of animal ingredient. It's what the FDA requires.

Firstly; if you're 13 and having migraines your mom needs to have your doctor check you out!

And yes! Advil (and most other) pain relievers contain animal gelatin and *not* vegetable gelatin (the first response is wrong, wrong, wrong)!

Lastly; Have your doctor check you out and do as the doctor orders!

If it is a true migraine, advil is not going to touch it. I get migraines without aura, and I find that fiorecet works best.

My advice, if you think you are getting migraines, you need to see a doctor. There could be underlying causes that need to be addressed.

try tylenol... but if you were in a hospital about to die and the only thing that would save you would be an animal based product, would you take the mediciene, or die?
