Basically i am in highschool and over the summer holidays a friend told me that she liked me, and being the person i am i didnt really give her an answer, i just said that i was flattered and kinda left it at that. Then school starts and i start talking to her more, and started to like her too. When i finally had the guts to tell her, she rejected me, because there is this new guy, and time goes on and we still talk alot and i am still REALLY in love with her. Then not too long ago we were alone and we start talking about random things, and she ends up telling me that she still kinda likes me, but she also REALLY likes this other guy (even thought he doesnt like her in return) and i also told her that i still really like her, things end up leading us to holding hand and hugging....I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO, she tells me that she still KINDA likes me, but REALLY likes this other guy. PLEASE HELP, if anyone could suggest things i ask her next time we are alone or things i can do...thanks

Some of my friends are telling me that she may be using me as a back up, for when she DOES get over this guy. Another friend suggests that she might only be using my to see if she can make this other guy jealous....STILL sooo confused and REALLY love her but dont know what to do

don't let her use you as her doormat. if the other guy doesn't like her, she should get over it and be with you. Does she just like the other guy for his looks? it sounds like she likes you kinda for more than your looks but also YOU

just go for it and see what happens. If she rejects u then at least u tried. U could wait until she gets over this guy then u can ask her out. Its your choice but the thing is that u should ask her out what ever u do. Just ask her to go to the movies on the weekend or something that could be fun. Good Luck

OMG that is so scary (im in highschool too), the same thing happened to me exept im the girl and i liked a guy for a while and he just went out with other girls and now he likes me... advice???
Tell her how you feel and dont be afraid to tell her the truth. aventually she will get over the other guy and start to fall back in love with you. you seem ike a really nice guy, it just might take a little time! =(
