you can eat veggie sushi, veggie tempura, noodles, rice, edamame, miso soup, and tofu dishes.

This is kinda odd, but there are a couple things you can get at a Japanese restaurant. Some restaurants make an array of tempura vegetables. I've seen this at Todai's, which is a japanese restaurant, not sure if you've heard of it. I also believe that some sushi is vegetarian as well. If you think sushi is just raw fish and crab and shrimp, there happen to be some restaurants that offer ones that are just vegetables and rice. They're actually pretty darn good if I say so myself. You just have to look at what a particular restaurants serves, because for some reason, they really don't all serve the same things. Hope I helped =)

Bean curd......tofu......is cooked in many wonderful ways. Miso soup is another thought.
