Yes, there will be problems. However, if your husband is smart, he can overcome them. Diabetics are useless for sex if their blood sugars are at a normal range before the act. Blood sugar must be raised before sex, and insulin must be in an active cycle, but not in peak cycle. Sex drops a blood sugar rapidly. It is physically demanding. I have found that sex is about equivalent in exercise to rowing a boat. Have sugar on hand. If your hubby still has good wood, he will lose it if he goes too low. If he is too high, he will get irritated, become a robot-sex man, and not climax. Either end is not a happy one. A good end, is when he ends on a normal bg. A sex-starting bg of 250mg/dl is a good initial target.

A word to you: You may need to put aside all the other foreplay and ambiance nonsense. If you delay when he is ready, you will end up frustrated. This involves scheduling sex if you want good sex.

When his wood is gone from neurotransmitter damage from the diabetes, have him get a prosthetic implant. You may even suggest he get it before complete shutdown. 24/7 wood has its advantages.

If your husband is a diabetic and in good control (an A1C of 6.5% or a glucose range of about 100 fasting and no more than 140 after meals) you should experience no problems. If a woman is a type 1 diabetic and becomes pregnant then there are concerns. There is also the question of the genetics of type 1 diabetes which is better understood than type 2 but curiously not as strong. In twin studies - if 1 twin has diabetes the other twin has a 50% likelihood of developing diabetes.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Well as far as the pregnancy goes his health thankfully has no bearing on your health or the babies. As far as the babys future health goes rest assured there is only a 3-5 % chance of you baby becoming diabetic(type 1) I am a type 1 diabetic thankfully it came on later in my late 20's after my kids so I didn't have any issues w/ pregnancy. But I have been told by My dr's, the kids dr's and diabetic educators not to worry only 3 - 5 % of diabetic parents pass this on to their kids.
type 2 diabetics that chance jumps to 30 + % that is why everyone assumes it runs in the family (90% of diabetics are type 2)

Nope there wont be any problems. My dad's diabetic, and so am I. That's the only problem that could be possible. Diabetes is genetic so their is a chance that you child could get diabetes. But other than that you're good to go. Good Luck!

There is a slight chance when you get pregnant that diabetes could pass on to the baby. But like i said a slight chance. If you don't have it there is a possibility that the baby would be born fine. But i don't think there would be any problems with your pregnancy.
