There are a few reasons that your little one could be having bloody noses, one is that nose bleeds can be a symptom of anemia, which means their blood is lacking in iron. Is your little one eating well ? If you think that he/she is getting a well balanced diet then it could be dry nasal passages. My son when he was little got nose bleeds at night all the time. His pediatrition found that his nasal membranes were getting to dry, she thought it was probably from the heating in our home. It was drying the air out and that in turn dryed out his nose and caused little cracks in the membranes, thus the nose bleeds. He seemed to get them worse in the winter when we ran the heat. Anyway she suggested we try running a vaporizer in the house to put back some of the moisture the heater was taking out. It worked pretty well and cut the nose bleeds down to almost never. Try it, it may help, if not I suggest a trip to the Doctors.

Could it be that the air in your home is really dry? This happens alot in the winter when the house is shut and the furnace is on most of the time.
You could try a humidifier in his room to see if that helps

I would also ask his pediatrician

I have not have been given any theory. My female has by no ability had one, yet. She's in basic terms 13 a million/2 months previous nonetheless. My youthful brother (who's 15 & autistic) gets them generally. My mom mentioned something with reference to the air being dry yet somewhat.. I have not have been given any theory!

The air in his bedroom may be too dry. Try putting a humidifer in his room and see if that helps. If that doesn't help then it is time to take him to the doc to get checked. Also lubricate his nostrils with vaseline before he goes to bed.
