A yeast infection is often something that has
nothing to do with a partner.
IF a partner had been with someone that has
one then they COULD pass that along,
but to find out exactly about how one gets one
go to www.mayoclinic.com and type in yeast
infection in the tool bar to the upper right on
that main page, then click on search and it
will tell you what you need to know on this.
Be careful to not accuse a partner before having
any facts on what causes this and if you have one
your partner could need to be treated if they had
relations with you while you have this as you can
transfer that to them then.
Symptoms would be different in men and women.
To avoid getting it passed back and forth both
should be treated.
Natural ways to prevent this that really work
are eating yogurt and drinking cranberry juice.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMCRZ
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

There are many ways to get a yeast infection. It can be from changings going on in the body, it can be from medications they were on. They can get it right before there menstral cycle because or hormones. You can get it from someone having sex but it usually very rare. If she already had it and then had sex with you it is possible you may have given it back to her if it went untreated.
Vaginal yeast infection is caused by an overgrowth of yeast organisms that normally live in small numbers in the vagina. Factors that encourage an excess growth of vaginal yeast include:
Using antibiotics.
Having high estrogen levels (hyperestrogenemia), such as during pregnancy, hormone replacement therapy (HRT or ERT) use, high-dose birth control pill use, and the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle.1
Having diabetes, especially if your blood sugars are not well controlled and tend to be high.
Having an impaired immune system.
Using corticosteroids, such as prednisone.
Being overweight.
Having the genital area exposed to moisture for a long period of time (for example, wearing a wet bathing suit all day) or living in a warm, humid climate.
Using an intrauterine device (IUD).
Having a sex partner with symptoms of yeast infection (very rare).

A yeast infection is caused by an imbalance of bacteria, too much bad bacteria.
She can get it from someone else. Married couples pass it back and forth, that's why they recommend intercourse while using the cream 7 day treatment.
A girl can get it on her own, it doesn't mean he cheated. It's not VD.

A yeast infection is not necessarily transmitted sexually. I could be from a unbalance of the yeast in the body. Also it could range from wearing tight clothes, wet clothes, and could even come from lack of hygiene. So people get it just because.

While you can contract yeast (it can pass from skin to skin), everyone also carrys it around in their intestines. In short, one can self-infect, so it does not mean someone is playing around.
My husband and I both have insulin imbalances (yeast likes imbalanced bodies like diabetics, and hypoglycemics), and we probably have passed it back and forth.
Check out the yeast link at www.hufa.org for more information.

No, a yeast infection is not a sexually transmitted disease. This is not to say you don't need to be careful when you have one. I wouldn't have sex at all, because it hurts way too much, but if you do, be careful with him washing or washing sex toys, because there can be reinfection.
