Well i work in southend general Essex,Mr Kelly is a excellent Cardio consultant.He also works privatly.Also you can look up on hospital websites what are nr you,the websites normally have all the medical staff which work there and also have info about what they do,how long etc.Good Luck

I don't live in Essex (but Middlesex), so don't know of any cardiologists based there. However, I would imagine the best hospital for heart problems would be the Royal Brompton in South Kensington, who are now linked with Harefield in Middlesex.
I work as a secretary in the imaging department in the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in London NW8, and I know we have a cardiology department there, and have just got a new CT scanner which gives great views of the heart. However, this is a private hospital - while I think the Brompton takes both NHS and private patients.
