Yes you can get yeast infections in all sorts of places even your mouth. Yeast loves warm, moist places and places we tend to use for sex match this, although you do not need to have sex to get a yeast infection by any means. Babies get them all the time. I believe that the treatment would be the same as for a vaginal infection but, I am not a doctor so seeing one is important. If this is your first possible yeast infection, you need to see a doctor as you need to identify it. Usually for repeat infections you will recognize the symptoms immediately. They are quite memorable, not terrible just annoying as all get out. There are over the counter remedies but, every time I get one, which basically is every time I have to take antibiotics I call the Dr. and get a one pill treatment for which the name escapes me at the moment. I also take a bath with a cup or so of oatmeal in it. Remember though yeast infections can be sexually transmitted and all partners should be notified or you can end up playing yeast tag. No fun!

Yes yeast like warm moist places and can grow throughout the entire body. Any oral yeast med will help as will probiotics, yogurt, AZO yeast, and keeping dry.
• Nystatin
• Diflucan
If you struggle with those things a culture of the yeast may be necessary to be sure what treatment is best.

yeppers. women with really large breasts can get a rash from a yeast infection underneath their breasts during hot weather, and some diaper rash is caused by yeast infections (if the baby has been on antibiotics). over the counter yeast medications (gyne-lotrimin, etc.) work. just b/c it's sold for vaginal yeast infections doesn't mean you can't use it other places. i've used it between my toes before.

yes you can get them in other places besides a vagina... even in your mouth. As far as treatment I am not really sure but if its in your anus i would just use some monistat cream in your anus- but in your mouth i would just see a doctor.
