I recently saw an episode of the Montel Williams show in which the guest's daughter was unable to tolerate meat and other foods due to an inability to digest. Although, rare it is possible your daughter could be allergic to it. I have a son that is allergic to all fish as well as shell fish among other things. It could also be a spice in the turkey that she doesn't tolerate. Don't force her to eat it. I am sure you make plenty of other side dishes that she can choose from.

You don't say how old she is... if she's an infant or toddler, I'd wonder if she's just gagging on it from being dry. If that's not it, then just let her avoid it for a couple of years. She can have chicken instead. Toss her a chicken leg in the oven while the turkey is roasting.

Then by all means make a little something on the side for her or offer her more of what she likes best, perhaps the stuffing. She deserves to have a wonderful day too.

Maybe she should try cutting it up in smaller bites and/or take her time while eating. Or it could be psychological (sometimes the thought of eating something will make you sick). Just make a ham, fish, or roast beef for her.

Perhaps she's allergic to it. We can all have different allergies or sensitivities to food and we can get different reactions from what we eat.

I cannot eat onions raw, but can eat them cooked. I get a headache from them unless they are cooked or been soaked in lemon juice, lime juice, or vinegar. I will get a headache from them if they are raw.
