Phentermine most definitely may increase blood pressure but short term elevations do not lead to permanent damage. As there is no evidence that phentermine (Adipex) leads to weight loss and if an elevation in blood pressure seems to be related to it stopping and avoiding this and similar medications would appear to be an obvious and simple solution.

Hey there, I think I can help you. My dad took adipex a few years back and I witnessed it all. The first few days were fine, he slowly ate less and less and started getting smaller. It worked really fast and we definitely could see results but then the problems started arising: he couldnt eat ANYTHING and i mean anything! whenever he even had a bite of food, he'd get this horrible stomach ache and that discouraged him from eating at all. I saw him deteriorate slowly, he couldnt walk, or do anything, He was on the couch the entire day and was lifeless. He had no energy whatsoever and looked pale. My mom and I saw all this and freaked out. We told him to stop taking the pills cuz if he had continued, he woulda ended up in the hospital as he couldnt eat or drink....it was horrible. Please please dont take diet pills. They are so bad for your health and have major side effects. I myself am also 23, but have never had kids. I used to be really big and just by eating smart, much less portions, and working out vigorously (an hour of cardio a day, everyday, lots of sweat) I was able to lose 50-60 pounds. Eventhough I've lost that weight, I still have a lil tummy and that is just from all the lose skin left over (i need a tummy tuck lol). But just dont do pills and do it the natural way. If you need any advice just email me, id be glad to help. You are a busy mom and your children need you so dont do anything that might pose a threat to your health like diet pills can. Good luck!

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Hi,
It definitely could cause high BP. Stop the pills immediately and take natural pills instead. I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).

I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)
