15 minutes a pound for 19 pounds at 325 it should be ready unstuffed 3 to 3.5 hours, stuffed 3 hours 45 minutes to 4.5 hours. However if you deep fry the turkey in a turkey fryer its only 3 ½ minutes a pound and tastes great. For years we got up early put it in the stove and drooled all day at the smell. Then being from the south where we are known to fry just about anything we tried this and wont ever shove a turkey in the oven again. You can have a 12 pound turkey in just under 45 minutes. And it comes out juicy and mouthwatering.

Oh my goodness, not :30 minutes per pound. Your 19# turkey would come out looking like a charcoal brickette after 8 1/2 hours!

You should cook any turkey at this rate: 4 lbs=1 hour, thus a 19lb Turkey would end up being approximately 5 hours. I hope that this helps to make your turkey day a good one.

about 1 hour for every 5 lbs so for you i would say about 3 to 4 hours on 300

10-12 hours. Either put the turkey in the refrigerator, or in a large sink of cold water is preferred. To gut and clean a fresh turkey from the woods is about 15 minutes. Plucking can takes up to 30 minutes. As far as a grocery store turkey it is done for you. You just need to remove the gizzard bag>> Very important!!!
