Yes its a true, cause a cold sore is a type 1 herpe. Its not as major has having Type 2 herpes, you can just get some cream and clear it up. I know this cause a friend of mine got type 1 herpes when a guy with a cold sore went down and gave her oral sex.

It also applies if a woman with a cold sore goes down on another woman
