I have asthma and i have put on a lot of extra pounds and lately I have been experincing shortness of breath.

yes it can. being over weight makes it harder to move around, and therefore requires more energy from your body. the extra energy will certainly affect your breathing.

yes it does cause da fat is pushing down on your rib cage and lungs and those who have asthma already have very little space in da broncials and trachea to breath

yes, when you are over weight your heart needs to work harder and u breath more and alot harder
