Here is my fool proof recipe for dressing. It was handed down from my grandmother and believe me it is awesome. I never even ate dressing before I made it this way.

While your turkey is cooking make corn bread. I use Self rising white corn meal just follow the directions on the package .Take all your drippings from your cooked Turkey (this is the main flavor ingrediant) Pour all of that in a pot and bring it just to a boil. While your doing that cut up 1medium onion and at least 3 celery stalks. Lightly Saute the celery and onion in about 3 or 4 tbs olive oil Add salt pepper and sage to taste.. Take your cornbread and crumble it up into the pan your going to bake your dressing in . Add 2 medium eggs and the celery and onion. Mix in your turkey drippings. Now You will probly have alot of drippings . I start with a 1/2 c of the drippings and mix. What your looking for is a firm yet wet consistancy. Where its not falling about it sticking together but if u touch the top of the dressing it is moist. You form it to the pan then bake at 400 for 30 to 45 mins. The edges will become this really brown and it will be soo delicous it will melt in your mouth. Hope this helps enjoy!

Try going to foodnetwork.com and look up Paula's Home Cooking in the scroll box thing. Or you can type "dressing" in the search box. On Paula Deen's show, she made oyster dressing and it looked really simple.
