If I was having diner for 27 people I would want food that was not a lot of time to prepare just before serving.
Try something that you can prepare the night before like the potato salad.
vegetable tray (baby carrots, celery, cucumbers, ect)
Macaroni salad or a pasta salad
cheese and crackers
fruit tray or salad
devilled eggs
If you wanted to add some hot food try thing that could go with your meal like appetizers that just take a few minutes to worn up.
Don't forget always have a couple of desert options not everyone has the same tastes.
Good luck and have a great party

Go with corn, collieflower (and maybe other vegetables) and Cranberry. Perhaps some stuffing as well. That should please everyone. Make sure to have some normal salad as well as some bread too becuase if you are having that many people you want to have a wide selection and give people choices while still going and keeping it easy for you. Also though you have potato salad you may also want to go with some mashed potatoes just to provide alittle bit more choices.

Pasta Salad easy to make. I just kind of throw this to together. Spiral noodles, italian dessing, pasta supreme seasoning, cucumbers, green and red peppers and shredded cheese.
Broccoli Salad this has to sit overnight. Mix in bowl 3 stalks of broccoli, 1 cup vinager, 1/4 of sugar, shredded sharp cheddar, and a cup chopped cooked bacon. Do not cook the broccoli the vinegar will soak into it.
I would also do a veggie tray.

Frog eye salad. It is sweet and delicious. The recipe is on the back of the box of pasta. It is the teeny tiny balls of pasta. I think it is called Andi something. Just look for the tiny balls in a box in the pasta isle. Also cheese and crackers, roles with all the condiments so they can make sandwiches, a fruit plate and a veggie plate both with dip. Good Luck.

How about an anti-pasta spread? In my family this consists of artichoke hearts, olive paste with crackers, herb cream cheese dips, sun dried tomatoes with pesto, cold chutney, rye toast squares (in the international section of most groceries) & cappitonia (eggplant salsa- found near the pasta sauces or international section). Oh an mushroom caps stuffed with crab or tuna.
Yummy!

Cranberries, regular leaf salad, yams (or whatever is seasonally traditional). Dessert would have to be a pumpkin pie (or a hot apple pie). Good luck with your event/party.
