Bible is not the means by which God proves that He exists.
Ask the nature they will tell you if God Exists.

God has to communicate with human in ways that they can perceive. Causing the Bible to be written by humans under the inspiration of the Spirit of God is the way God has taken. God's word is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword . . (Heb 4:12). The promises in the Bible when mixed with faith produce miracles which will not happen in an ordinary book. The Bible has supernatural revelations and power not found in any other book. THe prophecies written in the Bible were fulfilled before the eyes of mankind. These are evidences that the Bible is divinely inspired and the Truth of God

A very good question, particularly in the the supplementary details.
You CAN look at it that way, if you like, of course. However, experienced scretaries may be able to write a several hundred word letter for their employers based a theme set by the employer. The secretary will have written the letter, but the employer's name would usually still go on it.
Yes, humans physically wrote the Bible, but this would not necessarily stop it from being God's word.
There are reasons why God would communicate with us though the written word. While creation presents evidence of His existence, the Bible explicitly tells us what He wants us to do. These instructions include everyday matters. Human could not wirte these instruction. Advice and laws are sometimes changed from one generation to the next, depending on what's in fashion. Miracles could not be conducted without the power of God, not the ones that are performed in the Bible at any rate: plagues, Parting larges bodies of water, feeding many with little food, resurrections, etc.
Perhaps the most convincing part of God's word that proves His credentials are prophecies, accounts written down centuries ago but are being accurately fulfilled today. There are many convincing details to go over proving that the Bible IS God's word. Mwn could not so accurately predict these things. Jehovah's witnesses can give you a book about the subject, free of charge. Check out this web site.

why would god give us the bible (a book) as evidence of his existance?
Quite simply, he didnt!
When we set all the holy books of the world on one shelf,
there are very few believers who would say
that they were all written by God or Gods.
True believers of any one faith
usually believe that their own scripture is the truth
whereas all the rest of the books are viewed with suspicion.
The most reasonable explanation is that all these books
were written by human beings.
Sometimes a single author is identified.
Other books were written by committees,
who sometimes attributed their book to one famous person.
And the holy books with the longest traditions
evolved and changed over the centuries.
For example, each Hindu holy book has several authors and editors.
The authors of the books
that later came to be regarded as holy scripture
often did not think that they were writing scripture at the time.
The words---in their own languages---came from their own minds
even when they claimed to be receiving revelations from angels or gods.
But once their writings were given special status
within one of the organized religions of the world,
new doctrines of divine inspiration emerged.
Sometimes the authors did claim to have a direct word from God.
For example, the Old Testament prophets often said:
"Thus saith the Lord".
And then they would go on to make their own commentary.
Within Christianity the authors themselves
usually did not claim any supernatural origins for their words.
For example, the authors of Matthew and Luke
changed many of the paragraphs they lifted from Mark
in order to make a better story.
Would they have done that
if they thought they were writing holy scripture?
For the earliest Christian writers,
holy scripture meant the Hebrew Bible,
not the gospels and letters they were writing.
Only later did some parts of organized Christianity
begin to venerate these first-century writings as scripture
---and then only after rejecting lots of other writings
that they did not think were as valid or useful.

God did not give you the Bible.
Is the word bible and God mentioned in the same line in the 'Bible'?
I don't thing so. This 'Bible' is what a bnch of people called John, Mark, Matthew and Luke wrote, who copied each other and stuff. By the way, it's true.
If you don't accpet it theres no reason in giving me a thumbs-down, just ignore this. The 'Bible' has iformation that shouldn't be in a Holy book *cough*.
I recommend this book:

Please do not rate me thumbs-down for the the two links above posted, that are true, and nothing to do with me. I don't mean to disrespect Chrisanity, but you should study the Bible more carefully, and discover a lot of the shocking facts that are in their.
Such as pornography,
Swear words,
Bad body part words
Lies,
False information,
And many others,
I have lost the link to all this stuff, and hopefully, will find it,
Sorry to offend anyone, I do apologise. Sorry for any discrimination that I do not mean to do. Thank you for understanding.

The Bible is the inspired word of God.No other book in history has had as much controversy and attempts to have it destroyed.
Yes, it was written by men. Some forty men and women were inspired by Jehovah to pen this magnificent book.It was written over a period of some 1500 years. These writers came from different time periods, they did not know each other.Yet the whole Bible is harmonious from beginning to end.Man could not have achieved that on his own.
The Bible taught that the earth was round and hung in space well before it was discovered by scientists. Many, many prophecies predicted have had their fulfillment. If you were to make a honest examination of the Bible and its history, you would agree that it could not have been produced without Jehovah's help
The Bible was not preserved down to our day, just to give us evidence of God's existence. We only need to look around us at creation,at ourselves to know that there is a Almighty and powerful God.The Bible was preserved through the centuries,so that man would have divine principles to live his life by.The Bible gives us wonderful insight into our loving heavenly Father and through the pages of the Bible we are able to get to know Him.The Bible provides countless examples of what happens to those who trust in and obey Jehovah and what happens to those who don't.The Bible gives us insight of what is to befall mankind and what wonderful blessings lay in store.
It truly is a remarkable book. Some 98% of households contain a Bible. There is no other book like it.
If you would help to understanding it,Jehovah's Witnesses have a accurate and thorough understanding of the holy scriptures and would be only too happy to conduct a free home bible study with you.

God has given us everything for free, but we humans more likely to accept something that cost some money, so the Holy Bible is not a free book. Compering the Holy Bible with everything there is, yet not comprehended by humans as God's creation, we surely needed a manual.
Still yet we are not getting God's messages. We are stubborn, the Ten Commandments are the best way we humans can live.
But we prefer our Laws and systems, some of them are the total blame for what ever is happening in modern world: Like divorces, marriages between same sex, abortions, temporally gods, Atheism etc.

No one has ever said that God wrote the Bible himself. The Bible was written my many. That is why it is called the book of John and the book of Matthew. The Bible is the collection of books.
The bible has many authors. The holy spirit assisted the writers to write was they saw. Most of the writers experienced what is written in the book. The bible is many books in one written by men who were given direct words from God or inspired by God. The bible has been scrutinized and tested for its faliablity since it was written, and it has passed. Go ahead and give it a go. Read the book of John. The old testament was written by scholars, and the new testament was written by the disciples and the followers of the disciples.
The Bible was written by man, but inspired by God. The real question of life and it's meaning is that of faith. Can you have faith in something you can't see? Can you believe in something greater than yourself?
If so, you are on your way to knowing God. But it is the search to know him which is truly important.
Good Luck and God Bless you and your family.
Happy Holidays.

During the period of Adam and just after the flood, there was no need for a book, the Bible. Men lived longer and they remembered much better and passed on the knowledge of God through verbiage, however, if you realize that after a time men only lived for about 70 or so years and their minds became weaker thus God impressed the hearts of men I believe to make notes. We cannot find knowledge in of ourselves and thus I believe God in his infinite wisdom choose to reach us through his written inspired word the Bible.
The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to man the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the authoritative revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God's acts in history. (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; Heb. 4:12.)

Yes, but He also gave us the universe as proof!! How can a person look at dew on a rose petal, or a sleeping baby, or ocean vastness and not believe in God? The Bible is God's handbook, written indeed by His human, imperfect secretaries, but it is not the ONLY evidence of His existance!!

That's where personal faith comes in....the person reading something inspired by God has to believe, in faith, that he chose specific people and "divinely inspired" them. Without the Bible as proof of God's exsistence, there would be so much doubt and ridicule surrounding the topic the world would never cease wondering and talking about it (worse than they do already).
