i really really like this guy.. for like 3 years now. and at some point, i'm pretty sure he liked me too. we started out as friends, talking at parties and such... but a few years have gone by now and i only see him in the halls. he'll focus on me in the crowd, and is extra quiet around me. and if we ever talk, he'll look at my lips. (my friends tell me all this- before they even knew i liked him) he's really shy and according to my friends, doesn't treat anyone like he treats me. anyway, i was wondering how i could get him to loosen up around me without actually asking him out. (that would be awkward since i haven't talked to him for so long). also, do you think he likes me?

Just try to keep talking to him in a friendly way. Maybe mention some place you are going (where friends hang out) and when, and see if he shows up, too.

After not really seeing each other on a regular basis for so long it's difficult to say whether he still likes you, feelings change . . . regarding striking up a conversation, is there ANY way that you can secure his e-mail and begin writing to him? Tell him that you see him once in a while and wish you could talk to him more. That would be the easiest and probably most productive way to reestablish contact again.

well, yes! of course! absolutely! can't you feel and sense it?! you said that your friends told you that he treats you differently compare to other people right?! that's already a prove that he likes you more that other person... hey i almost forgot! didn't you said that he always looks at your lips when talking and his with you right?! well... there's the other prove that he likes you so if i were you, i will say to him what i really, really feel for him...
