Some cats will refuse to use one litterbox for both pee & poop. You can try adding another box to see if that solves the problem.
Otherwise, it's just a training issue. Cats will use a litterbox instinctively, but sometimes they need a bit of training to learn that's the ONLY place they are supposed to go. If that's the case, she needs to be confined in a small area with just litterbox, food, water, and a place to sleep. Let her out often to exercise and play, but only when you can watch her closely. It will only take a few days and she will figure it out.

You can get training litter which has something in it the attracts the kittens. I had 2 kittens born in August and the first time we used the training litter they both went with no problems. Now they are 3 months old and use the litter box all the time. Hope this helps.

When you see the kitten going to the corners and looking around to do it's business pick it up and put it in the sandbox. Let it know it is a good kitty. When it makes a mistake and goes elsewhere take the kitty to the scene of the accident and let it know that it is a no no in a stern voice and go put the kitty in the sandbox. This works very well after a few times.

Put her 'droppings' in the litter box, make sure she smells what you are putting in the box. Go and buy some kitty treats and make sure to give her kitty treats when she's in the litter box. Don't spooke her while she's in the box.

Whenever she goes on the floor ,pick her up and put her in the litter box, also make sure box is kept clean, she will catch on.

keep putting any mistakes into the litter box.. eventually she should get it
