ordinary. Nuns do not cover their face. The bans on veiling are adverse to overlaying the FACE. purely wearing hijab that covers the top/hair/neck isn't banned, and no human being cares about that (except especially circumstances, like even as driving leisure park rides the position the flowing hijab may get stuck contained in the vacation and damage/kill the wearer, like befell very last three hundred and sixty 5 days with the hijabi who replaced into driving the bumper automobiles, etc.). I Iive and artwork in Washington, DC, u . s ., and there are a good number of ladies people the following who placed on non-face overlaying hijab, and nobody even looks two times at them. that is not a huge deal. besides the undeniable fact that, there are women people the following who placed on face overlaying niqab and burkas, or perhaps as they don't look banned contained in the u . s ., that is weird and wonderful and uncomfortable. overlaying the face in western society is uncomfortable for individuals. Over the following, those who cover their faces are typically those who're robbing banks, committing crimes, etc. it really is what makes FACE overlaying hijab uncomfortable over the following. I assure you, hijab that doesn't cover your face isn't a huge deal over the following. i do not extremely recognize something although about christians overlaying their heads, because i'm agnostic.

For some here who have said it is not religion for 'lads' to wear hoodies.

It isn't relion to wear face masks either. I believe it is the head and possibly the shoulders that are to be covered not the face.

I like to see 'lips' when someone talks to me, otherwise I don't always hear what they are saying. (no i'm not deaf, or hard of hearing)

Maybe we should all wear the 'get up' for a day, then maybe we will be understood.

Good question.

You mean the Muslims wear veils on purpose rather than for a religious reasons!
I think it is a very old tradition - wearing veils in public - we were about something very similar 70 years ago, women were to wear a black over all garment to cover every inch of their body. That was 70 years ago, now they all wearing a tanga.
They should be the same as us in 70 years from today.

yes they should be allowed to wear the vail. It is a violation of our human rights not to allow us to wear what we want. The truth is big brother can't see u if u wear these items and that is what it is really about. For example the Hoody is a part of Hip Hop dressing culture, but clubs in the City won't allow u to enter their Hip Hop nights if u wear them or even baseball caps. Many sports shops sell them but u can't wear one in the shop. It has nothing to do with terrorism, more it shows the paranoia of an ever changing society, and the need to control us.

Yes, ski masks aren't part of a religion and who has ever heard of a women wearing a veil and robbing a bank?

they have free will to follow their religious belief system the same as any other group as long as they respect the free will and rights of others in return. in addition to obeying the laws rules and mores of the country they are in. regarding matters where security are concerned the veils should be removed as a person planning a robbery might take advantage of this situation otherwise.

I think if a lady wants to wear a vail then she should be able to it is for her religion.
Im confussed about taking them off. I dont think a lady should have to take hers off when walking into a bank.

I guess we have had more people with helmets and ski mask rob banks then ladys with burga's.

if its their choice who are you to stop it do you think it is right for a Jewish male to remove his cap or a christian to remove their crucifixes or Amish to shave their beards if the government said it was law i think not so why pick on all Muslims just because of Muslim terrorists as not all Muslims are terrorists do people judge catholics because the pope protects paedophile priests and do you think it is right for women and children muslims should be victimised for the acts of "muslim"terrorists this earth was supposed to be anti racial but by the looks of it,it applies to the muslim community

Niqab (covering the face) is not a religious obligation like hijab. I assume you are talking about Niqab. A muslim woman should be free to wear niqab but ready to show her face at check points and even to take it off temporarily when there is a security crises so long as it is not an obligation. As for hijab, no one can tell me to take my veil off no matter what.

Allah knows best after all.

Peace
