No - women in the USA can not be drafted. Not yet anyway. There is some discussion in changing the laws to draft women in a state emergency..., National Guards.., that type of thing.

So far no serious moves have been made to that end.
Some countries do, Israel being one of them.

In the USA, no one is currenting being drafted. And so far women have not been drafted. But that could change when the draft comes back.
Women have yelled so much about being treated like men that women will be included in the draft. So be prepared to leave your babies back home.

The draft is not currently in effect. There have been no provisions in the previous drafts for female selection. Males are required to register for selective service at the Post Office when they turn 18. This is in case the draft is re-instated. Unless there is a change made to current policy, females are not drafted at this point in time.

Women serve honorably in our services right next to the men. So if we were foolish enough to have a draft we would need to draft women also. But dont worry ladies-you have the best out in the world-if they draft you just get pregnant.

No, and I think it would have to be voted on by the general public to change it. Feminists tried this years ago, but it didn't fly.
