Depends on which society and community your partents belong. But, by and large there is a greater acceptance of inter-caste marriage due to the incorporation of global culture. The whole world in turning into one global village. The internet has broken boundaries. Lovers are found on shaadhi.com etc. In such a scenario, one need not be too sceptical about parents accepting intercaste marriage.

This is a difficult than I would have expected when I first read your question. I know what I believe the correct answer to be.
The goal of the Vedic varnashram dharma was to establish an ordered, highly structured society. In this arrangement, all inter-caste marriages were rejected by the Laws of Manu. Those who violated these laws of separation became, essentially, untouchables, people without caste standing. As children's castes are determined by that of their parents, the same would be applied to them. It is truly a difficult thing.
What makes this issue more difficult is that in theory (certainly not in practice!) the caste system was abolished in modern India. But even now when people violate the understood norms of society people shun them, in various ways and to varying degrees depending on the group etc, and they speak of it in hushed tones. The Varnashram System, as conceived in the early Veda, ceased to exist long ago. What remains is a confusing system of tradition and, in some cases, superstition which most people do not speak of openly and yet which continues to control and influence the lives of Indians around the globe.
Developmental ideas and models concerning family life have been disseminated widely around the world where they have become forces for both ideational and behavioral change. the ways in which ideas about marriage have been influenced by these ideas of development in India, where, for centuries Intercaste marriage were virtually non-existent. However, slowly and slowly larger fractions of Indians now endorse Inter Caste marriage and heralded as “modern” or “developed” family behaviors and tolerance for intercaste marriage has increased and the involvement of young people in the choice of their spouse has increased. Cohort replacement, increasing education, media exposure, and urbanization help explain these changes. However, although there has been dramatic change in the attitudes still we do not find complete acceptance of so-called modern family attitudes.
The concept of caste system and religious discrimination are like a bane on the path of India's progress. For year's Indian society especially Hindu society have been divided on the basis of caste system and religion. The problem of caste system was so deep rooted that it took years for the Indians to come out of that idea. Even today also India is struggling to come out of this social menace. Efforts have been made by various social reformers and individuals from Inter Caste and Inter religious it seems like a taboo to most of the people.
My recommendation would be to approach some one close like an Uncle our Aunt (who you can confide in and who can discuss the issue with your parents) and take their advice, because at times, such marriages are not acceptable and have been to have severe mental and physical consequences, I am sure you would not like to cause hurt to your parents.

If it is for you , then only parents that matter is your, please catch them in good mood and ask them.
Now for just to answer this general Q?. Here is my answer.
The whole world is becoming more and more liberal. This is because, people are expose to more knowledge, Thur various media, so chances are that that there would be more to-day then yesterday and day before yesterday, that would be willing to accept it.
However they may not encourage it. So when you ask this Q? chances are they will say no, it is not acceptable to them, unless the are ultra liberal.
It will also depend on their up bringing and their and your cast to start with.

they shudnt. times r changin fast. and so does people's thinkin. they r becoming more and more broadminded and opening up to new ideas which were concidered taboo say a few years back. so i dont see much hesitation in parents in accepting intercaste marriage.
