Ok, I know this sounds vain, but I am having a difficult time dealing with it. I used to be a male model (i am now 26), but have been out of the business for 2 years. This industry has given me a few insecurities. About two months ago I started to notice that I am losing hair, fast. I feel insecure about it because I am just about to start a new career and am currently single. Will I still be attractive? Isn't 26 years old and going bald going to affect my chances with woman and my career? Please, any thoughts would be much appreciated.

You must be extremely attractive to have been a model. Why would losing your hair make your face less handsome. I don't think I have to tell you that there are many attractive, bald men in movies, T.V,, theater etc. . Unless you act like a real stuck-up jerk or have a personality that creeps people out you should do just as well with women and your job as you did before you noticed your hair thinning. Good-luck on your new life!

I was in love with a guy who started balding at 24. I loved him until I realized how not nice of a person he really was. It wasn't the lack of hair that turned me away; it was his insides. If you have kept up with your housekeeping inside yourself, the outside hardly matters.

You can still be attractive with little to no hair, don't worry about that. You will not be getting the uber shallow girls anymore, be thankful. Your career will probably be affected but everyone knows that modelling is a passing career and has a smaller window.

Ignore those insecurities, they are there to trip you up. Just because all that BS is important in the industry doesn't mean it's important in REAL life. Go to a mall and look at all the couples holding hands. They look like Versace models? Not even close. And they are smiling???! Could this be??! Yes!

Make sure you are in a good place emotionally and spiritually, and you will be fine. A man's hair has little to do with the actual man.

Take care of yourself and God bless

I think you should just chill out on yourself, you sound like you are going thur a lot of stress.Frist of all; lose of hair is natural i don't think there is much you can do abouit it, but you should still go see a doctor maybe a cosmetic doctor am sure they will give you the best advise you need,Apart from that i think you shoul try to to belive in yourself more coz people at the end of the day look at who you really are, just how you look that is much more important i know looking good helpes alot ,but you can look good and if you have a low self esteem trust me you will find it difficult to briing out your looks.CONFIDENCE LOVE.

Many women "including myself" find bald men very appealing.I say shave your head and be very confident! Smile with your eyes. It doesn't matter whether or not you have hair what attracts a woman to you is your smile, your attitude, the way you walk. What turns a woman off is seeing a man who is loosing his hair and trys to camoflauge by combing a few strands of hair from the back or side to cover the bald spot. I think Howey Mandel and Montel Willaims are super HOT!
