Yes.
I think the human default state when born is a non religious neutral position. As we grow we are conditioned by society, culture , prejudice, upbringing etc. Until recently (50-100 years ago),religion has been used to serve a purpose, which was to make sense of this strange universe and our ever increasing enquiry into it. However, with time, our ignorance is slowly fading and a new era of reason and care full enquiry is opening in front of us breaking free from the shackles of the "age of faith".
Religion will in time be looked backed upon with nostalgic redundancy, and god will seem like a quaint idea (there has been 25000 gods throughout history). Religion will never die but it will become increasingly less important and the idea of not knowing certain things will then not invoke the claim that because we cant explain it, there must be a god.
Religion is a man made ideology designed to give us false hope and contrived purpose. We,as humans, should now start to stand on our own two feet without the crutch of a god/gods and find our own meaning, not that based on a supernatural deity .
I can and do live a great family, creative and professional life without religion, and challenge the ardent believer to reconsider there obedience to an all vengeful god to try leading a life without fear, guilt and ignorance.
cheers
mick

Yes. It is not a religion that makes a person a good person. All people can be good and happy, without religion.

I'd say yes people who are raised atheist no no God. What you don't have you never miss. Atheists are not bad alot of them are humanitarians, but science effects them instead of religion.

Personally I don't think so. I believe everyone needs a religion. You have to follow something. Whether you're a christian, catholic, etc. you need to know God exist.
