I am missing your problem. Are either of you dying, thus making it more painful to fall farther into love? Isn't that the point of going out with someone, to have a good time and establish a relationship?

If you guys are both single then you must be out of your mind to pass up in the chance of love. If there is another person involved in your lives then the best way to tell him is to be upfront. Just be straight with him and let him know that you feel this way. I'm sure he will understand.
