I asked a girl out for lunch a month ago and see turned me down, but we have kept emailing each other. It is her Birthday next week and am not sure what to do, as I would still like to take her out ? She works for a company we deal with and am not sure whether she is a bit nervous about me or not.

Well a birthday is a good reason to invite her out for a drink without seeming like a come on. Make it at lunch time or strate after work and say its just for the one. That way she can stay on if you are having fun or leave and stay freinds if shes not interested. You can guess better how she likes you face to face. Maybe even meet her in group with other collegues, take the pressure off a bit. But you are not going to get anywhere just with emails.

Yes, ask her out again, but as there's only a week to go until her birthday be prepared for her to say no - she's likely to have other things planned with friends.
Maybe she'd be more comfortable seeing you with a group of others at first rather than on your own - is there any kind of work's do coming up that you could invite her to?

Why did she turn you down. If she gave you a reason, like I'm not interested or I don't want to because of the work situation then I would say ....don't ask...If she just said no then perhaps you should try again....The worst that can happen is that she says no again....But, don't push it by buying her a gift as well if you do go out...If you don't....some flowers might be nice...Good luck

I would ask her. Whats the worst thing that can happen she says no. If she does that is a clue to u that maybe she just wants to be friends. But if u care about her thn be persistent but not to be like a stalker.

She could be nervous - or could just not want to mix work and pleasure!!!
Why not try a nice card and 'small' gift.....try again but if she say's no then I think your out of luck on this one!
