I used to be a huge fan of professional wrestling, and I still respect them as some of the top level athletes around. Alot of the people train very intensely similar to fighters, the only difference is that most of the wrestlers are heavyweights, or super-heavyweights. These huge people are excellent athletes, thats in-deniable.
WWF was way better back in 1998-1999 when Stone Cold and The Rock were at the top. It has gone downhill in a huge way since then, and it seems like they go through the same routines over and over and over. Its gotten way old, a long time ago, and I personally think they need to do some different stuff.
Mixed martial arts is much more exciting in my oppinion. And Pro-wrestling isnt even a sport. It is considered "sports-entertainment", hence the logo "World Wrestling Entertainment".

Pride...But mainly because I'm a Martial Artist and like watching real fights and not something choreographed, even though they're done on the spot using ladders, tables, etc.
What you may find interesting is that Pride may be working with the WWE on promoting it's own shows, so a coalition between the two could be formed in the near future...

Pride FC is the more exciting, is real, and showcase incredible talent
WWE is a soap opera with men. They are obviously in great shape but when you finally get it in your head that it's all set up with pre-set ending it just doesn't do it.
WWE will begin to loose more and more over the next few years as Pride FC and UFC gain in viewers. Check out the IFL also.

WWE has matches that are all choreographed from head to toe. Pride is real and doesn't rely on soap opera to carry them through a show.
