May be because they have been dumped to many times? Or had a disfunctional family growing up? I'm not having any luck online

I think both single women and single men are just afraid. Both have been hurt before, but that's no excuse. There's a lot of info out there for single women telling them that men are jerks and all kinds of signs for them to read that say 'he's just not that into them.' It's a bunch of bullshit and enough to scare them into being on the defensive from the get-go. Hope you find a great girl out there somewhere.

If you are looking to get laid, stay at the bar. The beer goggles have helped hookups all over the world! If you are looking for more that a 1 nighter take a class or something. When I go out I don't want to fend off anyone I go there to unwind. Single gals get cranky when good old boys, blokes, whatever applies don't take NO for the end of the conversation, it's like as soon as a man hears the word NO, he thinks he's in negotiations for a good time & all she wants is to be left alone! Have you watched the movie "Hitched"? If not, please do because it is good and will give you better answers than I can because it is from a man's prospective.

in sexual politics women hold the upper hand; its just like
if u own the only food store for 500 miles arond
u might be a littl cocky if not downright mean. ask women who
go after rich men they'l tell u they meet mean men--

because they see stright what u re worth. u might fool a teenage girl but not a mature chick. and as being for some time a single woman in past i can tell u - they re approached by so many jerks so they re really tired to send someone off politely. sometimes jerks get very annoying

trying to find a good date in a bar or online is a stupid idea. try blind dates set up by friends, joining church/community groups with single members, and other more mundane places like church. i don't think single women are mean, people react to situations in ways they feel will keep them safe.

Because guys can be PR*CKS and all girls know that and walk around with a shield up. If guys were nicer and had more respect for women instead of just using them for sex then women wouldn't be that way.
Come to Australia, all the girls here are lovely, its just in our nature, we can't help it and there is plenty of women here for you all.

i am having no luck either and these stiffies at yahoo are not giving me any good advice either. I think we need to keep trying and eventually the right one will cross your path, and for the mean girls well they can jump in a lake.
