I think that if you could try and meet her before the wedding. As if you just meet her for the first time at the wedding you won't get the chance to really talk to her. At least you could ice the ice with her by asking her how her wedding plans are going

Yes, going out to lunch or bruch is good.
If she's busy with wedding stuff, why not ask to go along with her be her driver and get to know her over a cup of tea when she needs a break frm work or wedding plans. Her life is bust right now so be a person she could take a break with!

When you marry someone you are getting their whole family too. The family dynamics from his family (roles, relationships, and how they solve problems - or not), have shaped him , and you should get a fuller picture of who he is by meeting family.

Remember that although family dysfunction is real, you and your guy can go through pre-marriage or relationship counselling to teach you both healthy relationship skills. So a crazy family isn't nessessarily a deal breaker - but it does mean you have some work to do to develop a healthy relationship.

definately! It's not a good start to a relationship with one's inlaws when they are pre-occupied with their own affairs. It's best to try and meet them before a big event so that there's a possibility they will be excited to see you when you arrive at the wedding.

You could both take her out to lunch, or to dinner...that way you are meeting in a neutral location, and you'll have your b/f with you.
