Well I only have one child, 8, but she loves to go bowling. We signed her up for a saturday morning kids bumper bowling league and she loves it. It keeps her active for almost 2 hours every saturday and it doesnt start until 11am so we dont have to get up early or rush out of the house. It's a great activity for kids of any age. I have seen many families there that have 2 or more kids and they all play on the same team and have a ball and its a great way for them to interact with kids their own age outside of school. Its nice for the parent too because you can just sit back and relax while you watch them play. I would suggest talking to your kids and seeing if this is something that would interest them. Then contact your local bowling alley and see what kind of program they have for kids.

If you have room a trampoline with the safety net gives them entertainment, exercise, easy supervision and you don't need to go anywhere. The initial investment is under $400 and it will last for years. My 17 year old daughter still uses hers with her friends. You need to spend a lot of time with a camera and "Mom watch this flip" though to keep it fun for them. I used to sit on a lounge chair with the youngest in the playpen next to me, reading a book and looking up for the cool tricks. sometimes I would join them. You can't say that about all kids activities. Fun for all. Be careful when more than one are on the trampoline though. Cracked skulls aren't fun.

first things first...get clipped or buy a vasectomy for the father for christmas. other than that, kids are easy to entertain...head to the beach or a park or go camping or go for a hike...take them to an amusement park for a day...take them toa friend's house and leave them for the afternoon...take a day at the spa....if you don't know how to deal with your children...why do you keep having them? consider reading Johnathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" and maybe put it to good use in your home if they misbehave....
