yes i think it is kind of addictive, but in a positive way, for me anyways. i am retired and worked in mental health for 30 years. when i retired the only part of my job i missed was helping other people. now i answer a lot of questions in mental health, and get great satisfaction helping other people. however it can become a negative addiction if your life is not fulfilled, such as you want a relationship, more friends, more self esteem, then this site can be used for an escape, and you can get caught up in other peoples problems, and forget about your own problems we all have problems and helping yourself with problems is just as important as helping other people with their problems. i hope this site is not just about points but asking, and giving advice, but hey, i like points too

I find it soo useful too.
And I can lose hours on it like this morning.
It does expose some small-minded people though....
