Depends what his hobbies are, my boyfriend is into mountain biking so I've got a few new mtb jerseys, cycling socks, a cycling jacket. I also got him an i-pod shuffle with waterproof case so he can hear his favourite music while he is out on his bike. A case of beer is always good though!

You can never go wrong with a nice watch. Try a Fossil if you don't want to spend more then $100, or an Invicta if you feel like splurging a bit.
